I am a specialist anaesthetist based in Melbourne.
Following medical training at the University of Adelaide, my specialist training in anaesthesia was undertaken in Adelaide with rotations to all major metropolitan teaching hospitals as well as Royal Darwin Hospital. My final year of training was undertaken at The University of Washington Harborview Medical Centre in Seattle, USA. Here, I furthered my skills in anaesthesia for neurosurgery as well as all aspects of general and regional anaesthesia. Upon returning to Australia, I was appointed as a full time staff consultant at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in 2011.
Currently, I am a Senior Visiting Specialist Anaesthetist at Austin Hospital, and The Angliss Hospital. My private practice is based at several private hospitals in Melbourne.
I keep up to date with current practice and participate in the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists Continuing Professional Development program. I have an interest in research and have presented an abstract at the Society of Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care in the USA and have several publications in anaesthesia journals, including Pediatric Anesthesia.
I am a member of Associated Anaesthetists Group.
